ESENTIA Energy Systems is a leading provider of natural gas transportation infrastructure in Mexico, with over 20 years of industry experience.
As the developer, owner, and operator of the Wahalajara System, the largest
privately interconnected gas network in the country, we transport natural gas from
the Waha Basin in Texas to Mexico’s principal industrial hubs through more than
2,000 kilometers of strategically located infrastructure.
Our integrated service offering encompasses natural gas marketing, pipeline and
compression station operation and maintenance, as well as a wide range of
specialized services for industrial clients. These include natural gas importation,
temporary storage management, gas lending, and optimization of reserved
transportation capacity, among others.

The energy transition is paving the way towards a new energy model seeking to replace the energy coming from highly polluting conventional fuels, such as coal or oil, with cleaner and more environmentally friendly energy such as natural gas, which plays a key role due to its availability, competitiveness and ability to be safely stored, transported and distributed.

Safety, a key factor in our operation
Safety, care for the environment and the well-being of the communities where we operate are factors directly influencing the way ESENTIA Energy Systems operates around its various facilities in Mexico. We comply with national and international standards that guarantee that our gas pipelines are operated responsibly and safely.
SCADA System
In ESENTIA Energy Systems we use the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system to monitor and control in real time the path of our gas pipelines with the purpose of guaranteeing a continuous and safe operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Emergency Response Plan
We have an Emergency Response Plan containing a clear guide
to what actions must be implemented in the event of a threat to the physical integrity of people, assets or the
environment.
